What We Ate Last Week - 7/21/7/27

Hey friends! I wanted to share a bit about what we ate last week. I typically shop at Aldi or Walmart for our groceries, but sometimes we venture out to a farmers market, or I’m able to harvest a few things from our deck garden. Here’s a look at our meals from last week:

Sunday: We kicked off the week with a celebration at my in-laws for my father-in-law's 75th birthday. It was a great cookout with delicious food!

Monday: Lemon garlic chicken & veggie sheet pan

I love sheet pan meals for their easy clean-up and versatility!

Tuesday: Taco Salad

with grass-fed ground beef and fresh tomatoes. A simple, yet satisfying meal.

Wednesday: Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread

My MIL gave me a few huge zucchini, which I shredded and froze for future use. The bread turned out delicious!

Thursday: Cilantro lime chicken burgers

These burgers were incredibly tasty and easy to make, we just added a side of fries to complete the meal!

Friday: BBQ Pulled Chicken Nachos

Another sheet pan meal loaded with veggies. It’s a family favorite! This particular recipe called for pulled pork, we've done it both ways and they both turn out great.

Saturday: Cranberry Jalapeno Chicken Salad

We took a road trip to Lake Michigan and I made my favorite cranberry jalapeno chicken salad for the journey. It's an easy and flavorful recipe.

I also did some baking throughout the week, and my favorite creation was an apple pie. I used up some leftover apples, and it came together beautifully. You may have seen it on Instagram if you follow along there!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you found some meal inspiration!

Can't wait until next week? Check out my other blog posts where I feature meals we've eaten!
