What We Ate Last Week - 6/30/7/6
Hey everyone!
Here's a recap of what we ate last week—these are all meals we love and rotate throughout the year!
Sunday: Hot Dogs & Burgers
We enjoyed leftover burgers and hot dogs from GFS. We had a birthday party the day before, and I like to eat out of the fridge from large gatherings before making something new.
Monday: Patty Melts
Patty melts with caramelized onions and other party sides. Another tasty leftover option!
Tuesday: Dijon Chicken with Sides
Dijon Chicken with potatoes and broccoli. Super easy to make and so delicious!
Wednesday: Breakfast for Dinner
Blueberry muffins for dinner! I love making breakfast meals during the week—it’s so fun and easy!
Thursday: Shrimp & Chicken Kabobs, Caprese Salad, Corn & Dessert
We grilled Chicken Kabobs with veggies, Shrimp Kabobs, Corn, Caprese Salad, and a berry trifle for dessert. We shared this meal with my parents, making it a great 4th of July!
Friday: Walking Tacos
We made walking tacos, a nostalgic meal for my husband and me! The kids liked them too!
Saturday: Individual Pita BBQ Chicken Pizza
Pita BBQ Pizzas on the grill. Everyone loves these, especially our kids because they get to customize them however they like!
*This recipe is from a digital cookbook I purchased. If you want more information, send me a message!
Plus, I recently got gifted a sourdough starter, so I made a new snack with the discard! I tried my hand at sourdough crackers and while I didn't bake them to perfection, I think they are pretty tasty!
More on that soon!
Follow along on Instagram where I’ll be posting the meals we’ve been enjoying! Happy cooking!
